Plant Description: 

Leptospermum madidum ssp. sativum: Commonly known as the Weeping Tea Tree, this striking Australian native is a small to medium-sized tree, renowned for its graceful, weeping habit and fine, soft green foliage. It produces clusters of delicate white to pale pink flowers from late spring to summer, creating a spectacular display against its smooth, peeling bark, which ranges in shades of cream to brown.

Thriving in full sun to part shade, it is highly adaptable to various soils, including sandy or clay, provided they are well-draining. Reaching heights of 5–8 meters, this tree is ideal for use as a feature specimen, in native or waterwise gardens, or to create light, dappled shade. Hardy to drought and light frost once established, it also supports local wildlife, attracting bees and other pollinators.
